The Essex Honey Show is an important event for Essex beekeepers, testing their skills in producing high quality honey and other bee-related products. In addition, it is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our craft to the public.
All kinds of honeys, wax and other hive products can be seen at the Essex Honey Show. Come down and have a look for yourself.
This year we have a change of venue – on Saturday 7th September 2019 we will be hosting at the Orsett Showground Near Grays, Thuruck, Essex RM16 3JU.
In our marquee at the show you will find honey and related products, along with observation hives, honey tasting, candle rolling and much more.
There are classes for both novices and more experienced beekeepers to compete for trophies in 51 different classes including mead, wax, honey, baking with honey and photography.
